At this point, it feels like I’ve been shooting photography my whole life. I can’t really remember a time when it didn’t play a significant role in who I am. Even as a kid, I was enamored by it and recall loving those disposable underwater cameras. Clearly, my love was laid so young.
My passion deepened in my twenties when it became a more serious art form for me. I spent that decade immersed in the NYC underground photo scene, cultivating my craft and honing my eye. Much of my time was spent working on self-portraits and intimate portraits of the artists and community I was surrounded by. I consider myself an artist above all else, and like many artists this is maybe even a necessity for me. The ability to create art drives my soul and inspires my livelihood.
I came to weddings by chance in 2016 through a Craigslist ad, of all places. It changed my life and gave me a new opportunity to make a living doing something I love. Over the last decade, I believe my wedding photography work has grown and deepened even more. I think I’ve evolved in a really powerful way, and I am extremely proud to say I feel the work I’m doing defies industry standards in some fundamental and meaningful ways. Most importantly, I am here to support couples on their wedding journey and to be a bystander of it rather than the center. I’m here to capture events as they are, and I believe people should get to experience their weddings instead of feeling like everything is for the ’gram, for the pose, for the show.
Life is meant to be lived in present time, and it’s something we’re beginning to lose in our current culture.
Currently, I offer both 35mm film and digital. I carry around many point and shoot film cameras and my two digital bodies. I believe film is powerful in the way it captures reality, similar to how the mind remembers it: imperfect, fractured, and more like a dream. I believe this is why we keep coming back to this medium time and time again. No matter how many updates are made in the tech world, humans want things that feel real and give them a sense of home.
In addition to photography, I also hold a master’s degree in counseling from NYU. I live in the Poconos with my husband, Ralph, an arborist, and my two kids, Luchiana and Odin.

Wasn’t ever really into the idea of becoming a wedding photographer but I fell totally in love with this and so deeply happy I keep meeting couples who let me do what I want .. and allow me to be an artist !
