This amazing Lower west side Micro Wedding was such a blast to shoot, I remember talking with the client for a few weeks before hand coordinating lighting and elopement portrait settings. She really wanted to encapsulate the city vibes and I think Delancey street is a great place to do that. I have always been personally obsessed with old graffiti and even more so the old iconic store fronts of NYC, as I was born and raised here. We only had two hours and spent the first hour or so getting family portraits around the lower east side and then off to her friends restaurant near by for the ceremony. Even with little planning and not much time we got such amazing photos and I had such a great time working with them. I totally encourage people to seek out alternative-ideas for the big crazy expensive weddings, micro weddings and elopements are an amazing way to save money and get to experience your day in a truly intimate stress free way.

i always get pretty emotional when i take photos of elder family members, i was so close with my grandmother through out my life, she sadly never got to see me get married or meet my children, its such a blessing to have them around for these moments. Its an honor to get to memorialize them for others .
